Private Leadership & Life Advisory

Navigate your career as real life happens.
Careers do not unfold separately from life.

A promotion changes relationships.
A difficult boss can affect confidence.
A demanding role can collide with family and personal priorities.

Success can bring opportunities but also questions about whether you still want the path you are on. And some of the most important professional decisions are the ones you cannot comfortably discuss with your boss, colleagues, HR organization, or even the people closest to you. That is the problem Private Leadership & Life Advisory is designed to solve. I provide accomplished professionals with a confidential, independent place to step outside the noise, understand what is really happening, evaluate their options, and decide what comes next. You bring the situation.I bring experienced executive perspective, organizational insight, candid conversation, structured thinking, and practical guidance.
The conversation you cannot always have at work.

You may be asking:

Why am I not progressing?
Am I ready for the next level?
How do I succeed after this promotion?
How do I deal with a difficult boss without damaging my career?
Is this environment merely challenging—or genuinely unhealthy for me?
Should I stay, leave, speak up, or wait?
Why has my confidence changed?
Do I actually want the next promotion?
How do I remain ambitious without allowing work to consume everything else?
What should the next chapter of my career—and life—look like?

These are not always coaching problems.
Often, they are judgment problems.
You need a trusted person who can help you see the situation more clearly, challenge your assumptions, understand the organizational dynamics, and think through the consequences of different choices.
That is the role I play.

What I Help Private Clients Navigate

Private, one-on-one advisory for accomplished professionals navigating the moments when career, leadership, workplace, and life intersect.

1

Career & Leadership

Navigate promotions, career moves, expanded responsibilities, executive presence, and the transition into bigger leadership roles. Gain experienced perspective on what is next—and how to get there intentionally.

2

Workplace Dynamics

Think clearly through difficult bosses, organizational politics, unclear expectations, culture challenges, and high-stakes workplace situations. Understand what is really happening, what you can influence, and how to respond strategically.

3

Life, Clarity & Next-Chapter Decisions

Work through the personal realities that inevitably intersect with career—boundaries, confidence, competing priorities, purpose, major transitions, and decisions about what you want the next chapter to look like.

The Process

Employers
Business Colleagues

Clarify → Diagnose → Decide → Act → Integrate

Clarify

What is really happening?
We define the problem beneath the presenting problem.

Diagnose

What is driving it?
We examine the person, the organization, the relationships, the incentives, the culture, the constraints, and the risks.
When appropriate, I may use:
CliftonStrengths — to better understand how you naturally operate.
OCAI Organizational Culture Framework — to better understand the environment in which you are operating.
Neither assessment provides the answer.
They help us ask better questions.

Decide

What are your realistic options?
We consider consequences, tradeoffs, timing, values, reversibility, and what matters most.

Act

What will you actually do next?
Insight becomes a decision, conversation, boundary, career move, leadership behavior, or practical experiment.

Integrate

What will you carry forward?
The objective is not merely to solve today's problem.
It is to strengthen your judgment for the next one.

Ways to Work Together

Private Clarity Session

A focused conversation around one consequential leadership, career, workplace, or life issue.

Ideal when you need experienced perspective on a discrete situation without committing to an ongoing advisory relationship.

Leadership Profile & Advisory

A deeper diagnostic conversation incorporating your professional context, leadership patterns, priorities, and strengths.

May include CliftonStrengths interpretation and, when relevant, organizational culture assessment.

Ideal for professionals asking:

How do I lead? Where am I strongest? What may be getting in my way? And what should I work on next?

Executive Advisory

Higher-touch private advisory for senior executives navigating complex, politically sensitive, or high-stakes professional situations.

Designed for leaders who value confidential access to an experienced executive perspective when decisions cannot wait for the next scheduled coaching cycle.

Ongoing Leadership & Life Advisory

A continuing private advisory relationship for professionals whose situations evolve over time.

One month may involve a promotion.

The next may involve a difficult stakeholder.

The next may involve career direction, boundaries, family priorities, or a major decision.

The relationship provides continuity because you do not have to explain your entire history every time something changes.
